Al Kul television ( TV for ALL) is an independent Palestinian community television. It aims to carry out professionally its media policies. It was created out of the vision of the Palestinian News Network ( PNN) and the Holy Land Trust. It emphasizes creativity, excellence, and local community service and encouraging local communities to flourish on democratic principles, and increasing awareness for developing society and participating in achieving the strategic aims of the nation and its citizens. Al Kul television was created to provide an open free forum for individuals in this community to freely express their opinions, and to deliver the views of the marginalized and vulnerable sectors of society, to serve humanitarian cases, and to work for peaceful coexistence based on equality in society.
Al Kul Television, as a community television, was the first local television station in Palestine committed to community service. It started broadcasting in Bethlehem on UHF frequency 51 in November 2007 as a community television dedicated to realizing the aspiration of the people, ameliorating their suffering, and working with the United Television Network ( NUR) to cover all the areas of the homeland.
Al Kul television endeavors to belong to all the people, expressing their views, obtaining its inspiration, ideas, and programs from the daily life of Palestinians, and the needs and desires of the members of Palestinian society, and working to provide the highest level and variety of programs that aim to educate, and guide citizens regarding their community concerns, discussing them with experts, and bringing their voices to the attention of responsible officials and decision makers in an attempt to find solutions. In addition, we seek to present a variety of programs to satisfy all interests,and age groups, aspiring to be a unique television station that provides an opportunity for all people to present their ideas, capabilities and participation in innovative, new and creative ways.
Al Kul Television carries out full and comprehensive field coverage of daily events and activities in the Bethlehem District especially, and other areas in Palestine as well.
Arab and International news are covered to the extent that they interest or effect the local community in Palestine. We broadcast our own news bulletins and special reports that reflect different points of view of all the sectors of Palestinian society, its citizens, government and local institutions with objectivity and neutrality.
The Kul Television endeavors to promote local programming and the production of programs which emphasize local concerns, as well as children’s programs through which children and encouraged to express themselves directly.
